Performance Park Concert Series Returns
Get ready, Nicholasville — the music is back!
The City of Nicholasville and Visit Jessamine are once again bringing the community together with the 2026 Performance Park Concert Series. These free monthly concerts take place in downtown Nicholasville and feature a mix of local and regional talent.
Concerts are held from 7:00 PM to 9:30 PM, offering the perfect way to spend a summer evening. Bring a chair, bring your family, and enjoy the energy of downtown along with great food from nearby restaurants.

• May 8 – Sheerflow
• June 12 – The Encore Band
• June 25 – Five Below
With a variety of musical styles and a welcoming atmosphere, each concert offers a fresh experience and a great reason to gather with friends and neighbors.
Nicholasville Police Car Show
Mark your calendar for Saturday, May 30, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at East Jessamine High School for the Nicholasville Police Car Show, a D.A.R.E. fundraiser.
This event brings together car enthusiasts and the community for a day of classic and custom vehicles, family-friendly activities, and local vendors.
Highlights include:
• Drive-through registration available on site, $20 per vehicle
• A parade of cars through Nicholasville with a police escort at 2:00 PM
• Vendor booths, inflatables, and food trucks
The first 100 participants will receive dash plaques, and a wide range of vehicle categories will be recognized, from classic cars and trucks to imports, motorcycles, and modern builds.
Walk, Wine, and Dine
On June 19, experience an evening of flavor and community at Walk, Wine and Dine, the kickoff event for the Kentucky Wine and Vine Fest.
This event invites guests to stroll through a curated culinary experience featuring local wineries and restaurants. Enjoy thoughtfully paired wines, handcrafted dishes, and a vibrant atmosphere that celebrates the best of Jessamine County.
It is the perfect opportunity to gather with friends, explore local flavors, and enjoy a relaxed and memorable evening.
