The City of Nicholasville Human Resources Department is accepting applications for the position of Water Distribution, Wastewater Collections Maintenance Supervisor, grade 57. The pay scale is $28.15-$38.00. Hiring rate determined during final step of interview process.

Duties include but are not limited to responsible for the Division in the absence of the Superintendent; supervises personnel assigned to construction, maintenance and cleanliness of water distributions system and wastewater collections system; operates equipment assigned to division; assists in performing required duties; assists other division/department as requested; performs related work as required.

Must have a high school degree or equivalent (GED) supplemented by a minimum of 3 years directly related work experience.  Education from an accredited college or university may be substituted for work experience requirements. Applicants must have the ability to communicate effectively; must possess and maintain a valid Commonwealth of KY driver’s license; must obtain within 12 months a Commonwealth of Kentucky Class A commercial driver’s license.  Must possess a minimum of Class III D Distribution certification or Wastewater Collection Class III certification and obtain the other within one year of eligibility. Must be able to respond to calls in emergency situation at all hours, must participate in the City’s drug and alcohol testing program.
