Our Fire Investigation Bureau, under the direction of Deputy Chief of Prevention/Fire Marshal Josh Bolton is responsible for determining the origin, cause, and circumstances of fires that occur in the City of Nicholasville. 

This division partners with a variety of local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies to ensure a thorough, detailed, and scientific based investigation process. 

All members of the Bureau are highly trained and certified professionals and are focused on preventing life and property losses and community risk.
