Nicholasville Is Accepting Applications For:

Electric Second Class Lineman

The City of Nicholasville is accepting applications for Second Class Lineman, grade 26. Minimum starting pay at $15.55 hour, maximum over time of $25.91 hour. Under general direction will assist in the construction, service, and maintenance of the electric power distribution; performs related duties as required. Applicant must have knowledge and ability to learn complex electrical systems; ability to work from heights and climb poles after receiving proper training. Applicant must have a high school degree or GED supplemented by any combination of education, training and experience equivalent to completion of the Somerset Community College Lineman training program or equivalent; must possess and maintain a valid commercial drivers license issued by the Commonwealth of KY.
