Nicholasville Is Accepting Applications For:

Lateral transfers for the position of a full-time Firefighter / EMT

Position Requirements: At least 21 years of age; High School Diploma or GED; Valid Driver's License (from current state of residence); Current KY 400 hour certification; Current KY certified EMT; IFSAC Firefighter I and II; IFSAC Haz-Mat Awareness and Operations; Current CPAT card if applicable ( out of state applicants or those not currently working for a career department)

Salary and Benefits: The City of Nicholasville will give credit for up to ten years of service with pay being commensurate of experience, education, and years of service compared to the City of Nicholasville's current pay plan minus 2%.

Minimum Starting Salary: $33,945.60 plus training incentive. Annual Training Incentive Pay: $4000.00; Fully-Paid Employee Medical/Dental/Vision; 75% Paid Family Medical/Dental/Vision; State C.E.R.S. Hazardous-Duty Retirement; Paid Vacation ; Paid Life Insurance; Bereavement Leave; Sick Leave; Paid Holidays; Shift Trade-Time; Tuition Reimbursement
